     PRO-FLUSH MOUNT INSTALLATION

    Installing Pro-Flush Mounts BEFORE Siding

To install Pro-Flush mounts prior to installation of siding, attach backplate to wall with nails or screws using mounting slots. Be sure the rain drain is at the bottom of the mount. Cut an opening in the siding panel that is 7-1/4" wide and 4-1/8" high. Using a utility knife, make a 1/2" horizontal slit in each corner of the bottom edge of the opening. Slip the siding panel over the top and side flanges of the backplate and uner the rain drain. This will allow water to drain out over the exterior of the siding. Install the cover plate by inserting attachment studs into attachment holes on the backplate. Push cover plate inward to adjust and straighten.

    Installing Pro-Flush Mounts AFTER Siding

If you are installing Pro-Flush mounts after your siding is installed, make a rectangular opening in the siding panel, 7-1/4" wide and 4-1/8" high. Cut a 1/2" horizontal slit in each of the bottom corners of the opening. Insert the top of the backplate into the 1/2" slits and slide the backplate upward so that the siding exends over the top and side flanges of the backplate, and under the rain drain at the bottom of the backplate. This will allow water to drain out over the exterior of the siding. Attach the backplate to the wall with nails or screws using mounting slots. Install the cover plate by inserting attachment studs into attachment holes in backplate. Push cover plate inward to adjust and straighten.
