Trapped in solemn isolation, severed from their dreams.
Creativity breads in the minds of the young, until the exterminators come.

A new thought is born but quickly dies a still birth caused by rolling eyes.
And with contempt for positive change their lives become prearranged.

Inside the classroom a storm is brewing a battle for popularity.
Conforming to somebody else's idea of individuality.
Originality forms in the minds of the young,
Until the peer pressure comes.

A new thought arrives and is turned away, by thousands of clones to a form that's vague.
And with beliefs not of their own they form walls of solid stone.
That blocks escape from Mediocrity.
